Multimedia Exhibition 2009
A multimedia exhibition featuring the life work of Stanley Phillips will be opening at Y Stiwdio, St Clears at the end of April, 2009. Film, Photographs & Audio of St Clears and the surrounding area will be on display. There will be a DVD, a book and limited edition framed prints available to purchase at Y Stiwdio. We hope you will come and support the exhibition. The date of the private view will be confirmed shortly.
The Photographs Of Stanley Phillips Provide A Rich Tapestry Of Life In St Clears And A Window On The World At That Time. The Collection Is Probably One of The Most Complete And Accomplished Set Of Photographs To Be Found Which Document Life In A Welsh Village Circa 1912 Onwards. The Photographs And Film Are Brought To Life With Interviews Of People Who Were Children In The Early Part Of The Last Century.
